Circle Ranch is a 'Sky Island'
The Sierra Diablo range rises one-half mile above the Chihuahuan Desert floor in Hudspeth County Texas, 40 miles below the New Mexico line.
It is well within the theoretical range of Guadalupe Mountain elk.
